Students learn entrepreneurship


A group of Pekin high school students gained some business savvy Wednesday when they participated in an entrepreneurship exercise at the Fairfield CoLab.

Post found not guilty

Fairfield resident Cynthia Post was found not guilty of third degree sexual abuse at the conclusion of a trial Thursday at the Jefferson County Courthouse.
Post’s trial lasted two days and included testimony from Post, her daughter, the alleged victim, the alleged victim’s father and police officers.
