Ministerial alliance will pack meals to fight world hunger

The Washington Area Ministerial Association (WAMA) will be packing meals for the fourth year this Sunday.
The meals are for “Take Away Hunger,” said First Baptist Church pastor Darryl Carr. They will begin packing them at 3 p.m., at K.C. Hall, in Washington.
“We organize a benefit every year,” Carr said. “We had 10 churches that donated money this year and we’re going to have enough money to pack 24,000 meals.”
